Gac gives thanks to Mitsubishi customers
Central to their ongoing customer engagement programme, General Automotive Company (GAC) recently conducteda series ofRegional Customer Meetings for its loyal Mitsubishi customers in Nizwa, Salalah, Sur and Sohar. The well attended events saw customers receive certificates of appreciation and a memento from GAC, giving thanks for continued support of the Mitsubishi brand of vehicles.
Commenting on the event, Mark Tomlinson, General Manager of General Automotive Company said, “In an industry as dynamic as the one in Oman, forging strong relationships with customers is the key to deriving success from your business. This is why we put our customers at the very heart of everything we do. Gatherings such as these are extremely constructive and help us stay closer to the most important people in our business, our customers. The drive to maintain positive relations with customers governs our operations, and ensures our continued growth.”
At each of the events, Steven Tomkinson, the National Sales Manager from GAC, expanded on the new range of vehicles that Mitsubishi recently introduced to the Oman market; namely the Outlander, Mirage, Attrage and Lancer EX 1.6. Each of these models epitomise the quality, performance and reliability that Mitsubishi is known for, but do so while offering their own unique charm.
The third generation 7-seat Outlander has been designed to fit seamlessly into busy lifestyles whose form and function, combined with incredible looks and improved aerodynamics, makes it a truly fantastic addition to our range of SUVs.
The Mirage is a five door hatchback whilst the Attrage is a four door Sedan. Both models are powered by the same newly developed EURO2, Double overhead Cam, three cylinder 1.2 Litre MIVEC Engine, and by using the very latest technology, Mitsubishi have made vehicles that will outshine all competitors. These vehicles not only have the best fuel consumption in their class but also offer some of the most advanced safety features.
The final new addition to our fleet of vehicles is the new Lancer EX 1.6 GLX. This new model takes the reigns as the entry-level model to the Lancer EX family. Under the hood of the new car is a smaller 1.6L MIVEC engine that produces 117 horsepower and 154 Nm of torque. In spite of the smaller engine, the new Lancer EX 1.6 retains the dynamic driving experience the Lancer EX range is known for.
The customer meetings held across the sultanate allowed General Automotive Company to showcase each of these new vehicles to key clients across Oman, as well a providing GAC with a great opportunity to show its appreciation to its most loyal customers by presenting them with a memento at the event.
“General Automotive Company strongly advocates on building robust business relationships and alliances with its growing portfolio of customers as we continue to go from strength to strength in Oman.” added Mark. “We are always looking to generate new relationships. Keeping true to this spirit, we intend to take everything a step higher in 2014, taking everyone with us in our stride to achieve new heights in both sales results and customer satisfaction.”
General Automotive Company (GAC), a part of the Zubair Automotive Group, has been associated with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation from 1973 and has since been the sole dealers for the brand in the Sultanate. 2013 marks their 40th anniversary with the brand and stands as a testament to the historic relationship the group has with the Japanese automobile giant.
