GAC Announces Arrival of All-New Mitsubishi ASX

General Automotive Company (GAC), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Oman, has announced the arrival of the all-new Mitsubishi ASX. The new vehicle sees a major overhaul of its exterior design, now featuring Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield design language, together with a host of new interior upgrades. For the 2020 model year, the ASX has also undergone a dramatic facelift, now featuring an evolution in MMC’s Dynamic Shield front design concept. The bold new design projects a strong image, expressing both its strength and toughness.The distinctive LED lighting layout, which locates the turn signals and fog lamps at the ends of the bumper, stamps a Mitsubishi brand look on the front end. The new styling also makes the hood deeper, providing greater driver visibility. At the rear the new LED combination lamps meld seamlessly into the ASX’s sharp lines and design features that stretch across the width of the car, further accentuatingits wide stance.

The interior of ASX sees an evolutionary change, bringing back all the hallmarks of the ASX with comfortable seats, an intuitive dash layout, high-quality materials, and ample space throughout the cabin. Completely new for 2020 is the introduction of the Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) system, complete with an 8” centre display screen on all 4WD variants of the ASX, offering more advanced connectivity and audio options together with a high-resolution rear view camera.

In addition to these changes, buyers opting for Mitsubishi ASX are assured of its power and performance. Its urban-friendly 2.0 litre, 4-cylinder DOHC MIVEC engine delivers fuel efficiency, combined with an ample 144hp and 197Nm of torque.
